DIRECTIONS
The meeting venue (Presidencia del Gobierno) is 1.5Km (about 25 min. on foot and 15 min. by car) from both hotels.
TRANSFER
The organisation provides transfers from and to the airport between Sunday 5th and Saturday 11th November 2023.
Additionally, all transfers associated with the development of the official programme (airport, hotel, conference venue, lunches, official dinner and the tourist activity) are covered for all participants from both hotels indicated above.
FLIGHTS
Flight details must be indicated on the registration form (arrival and departure time, flight number…).
On arrival at Tenerife North airport, a person from the organisation, identified with the conference poster, will be waiting for participants to inform them about the location of the transfer to the hotel and, if applicable, the waiting time for other participants.
Tenerife North Airport Los Rodeos (TFN) is the closest airport to Santa Cruz de Tenerife. It is 13.7 km away (TF-5 motorway, 21 min.) from the centre of Santa Cruz, where the hotels recommended by the organization are located. The taxi service to Santa Cruz de Tenerife costs around 21 Euros. The bus service, line 20, leaves every 30 minutes from the airport terminal to the central bus station in Santa Cruz (25 minutes), located 2 km away from both recommended hotels .
South Tenerife Airport Reina Sofia (TFS) is located 62.6 km (TF-1 motorway, 42 min.) away from the city centre. The taxi service costs around 100 Euros. There is also a regular bus service available from the airport to the capital of the island (about 50 min.), line 10 departs every 30 minutes to the central bus station, which is located 2 km away from the recommended hotels.

Santa Cruz de Tenerife is a city and municipality in Spain, capital of the province of the same name, located in the island of Tenerife and capital of the Autonomous Community of Canary Islands together with Las Palmas de Gran Canaria). It has a population of 208,688(INE, 2022). 2022). It is located in the northeast quadrant of Tenerife, and in urban terms linked to the city of San Cristóbal de La Lagunaboth cities being considered as twin cities , and comprising, together with El Rosario, Tegueste, Tacoronte and El Sauzal, the Metropolitan Area of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, with a population of about 450,000 inhabitants.
The Parliament of the Canary Islands and the Audit Office of the Canary Islands are located here.The Presidency of the Government of the Canary Islandsalternates in legislative periods with Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Other institutions located in this city include UNESCO headquarters in the Canary Islands.
The city of Santa Cruz de Tenerife has a subtropical climate. The average annual temperature is 21.5°C. Rainfall is scarce, although the average annual humidity is around 63% due to the coastal condition of the city, which slightly varies throughout the year. In November, the average temperature is 24°C and the nine-hour sunshine a day provide plenty of time to enjoy the sea, sand and clear skies, even though winter is approaching.
